Ms. Telojo “Telly” Valerie Onu is a serial entrepreneur and financial innovator, and has been at the forefront of digital finance and alternative investments with over 20 years’ experience as digital economist, educator and financial transformation practitioner. She is an International Speaker, co-author of two books, The Insurtech Book and The Wealthtech Book. Telly is a Digital Financial Market Infrastructure (DFMI) and alternative finance advocate, Financial Innovator and ecosystem enabler. 

As a Digital Financial Innovator, Telly is also the Managing Partner for Prohaus Labs, a US based Fintech Incubator, with a rich portfolio of startups which include but not limited to Alts School, a new global tech school for alternative finance, designed for graduates and mid career professionals to acquire combined finance and tech skills to fulfill the significant shortages of Digital Finance jobs, At Alts School Telly leads Instructional Design & Curriculum Development and is a Lead Instructor on the DFMI Management and DFMI Climate Finance Post Graduate Certification Programmes implemented in partnership with Informa PLC and Middlesex University. Other portfolios include  Curaa.money, Osusu Labs, Income Stack and many more. She is also Chief Governance Officer at Beyond Capital Markets, responsible for Governance, Risk and Compliance of the Digital Financial Market Infrastructure (DFMI) protocol and private wealth client relations. In 2020, Telly recently joined the Bantu Blockchain Foundation (BBF) as the Head of Governance & Execution of the Bantu Protocol which is a new intelligent decentralized financial infrastructure designed to empower humanity. 

Telly started her career as a management consultant and is the Managing Director for Quintessence Consulting Inc also DBA QGlobal, a boutique management consulting & transaction advisory firm. Under which she has led and implemented several business climate reforms, private sector development, &  economic transformations initiatives  for international organisations such as the European Commission (EC), World Bank Group. She has also facilitated many foreign direct investments and flows into the Caribbean region. Qglobal is currently pivoting into Regtech and Project Finance.  

Telly holds an Executive Masters in e-Governance, from the Swiss University of Technology (EPFL) and is certified expert in Climate Adaptation Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She is also the only Caribbean, 100 Women in Finance Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charter 2020 Scholar.
