Dr. Kyla L. Tennin, DM(Hons), LSSWB™, PMEC™, MBA, BA

Dr. Tennin is a transformational leader with core values of compassion (positivity), leadership, dependability, equality (fairness), and determination, and has executive education experience at Harvard and Stanford Universities, has been an entrepreneur for nearly two decades, and has successfully launched numerous corporations within 26 locations, in 24 countries, on 6 continents.  Most of Dr. Tennin's international experience (e.g. leadership, management, advisory services, negotiations, human resources, etc.) has been virtual, so her interest in ground experience is high.  Further, Dr. Tennin is known for being detailed, operates in integrity and excellence, and follows a personal mission statement of “to use my gift of leadership to serve as a determined and dependable leader who shows equality and compassion to others around the world, especially women and girls”.  Likewise, Dr. Tennin has over 20 years of experience within her industry and 15-years of experience leading her own global conglomerate firm as President and Global CEO, with early beginnings in 1998, working with Fortune 500, 100 and 1000 companies as the firms’ global corporate clients, such as: Procter & Gamble, Macy's, L’Oréal International, belk department stores, Kmart, and foreign governments, and registered diverse supplier for corporations like Coty, Inc., Kohl’s, Nordstrom department stores, Johnson and Johnson, The Limited Brands, The Coca-Cola Company, airlines and airports, municipalities in distinguished nations, and so on.

Additionally, Dr. Tennin has a high interest in consumer product development of natural/green/organic products using natural sciences, botanicals, spices, and food (e.g. vitamins). Her value proposition is deep expertise in organizational infrastructure and business administration-executive office to solve business architecture and administration complexities with an objective of resurrecting financial and operational output to accomplish profitable and sustainable growth.  Also, Dr. Tennin completed her social sciences practitioner doctorate of Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership (DM) at the University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies. She studied non-profit management for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research doctorate credits from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota in Non-Profit Leadership with a concentration on Boards, CEO's, and Board Governance, holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Women's Studies with minors in Biology (Pre-Medicine studies) and Conflict Resolution studies from private institution Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and possess experience and knowledge in global intellectual property, reputational issues, various corporate environments, leadership, sales, organizational diagnosis and intervention, research, banking, regulations, credit, strategy, innovation, marketing, analyses, and assessments.

Prior to launching her own main enterprise, Dr. Tennin worked in operations and finance at SunTrust Banks, Inc., US Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. with affiliate global relationships with Wells Fargo Financial, Wells Fargo Auto Finance, Wells Fargo Card Services, Wells Fargo Business Banking, Wells Fargo Investments, Wells Fargo Education, and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. As an exemplar, she assisted with the launch of Wells Fargo Bank locations in fourteen southern states (M&A)), was a high-performer, top sales employee, received various awards, and scored over 95%, consistently, on quality assurance.  As a fun fact, did you know there is a Wells Fargo Bank ATM located on the North Pole at McMurdo Station, operated by the locals?  Equally, in the very early days of Dr. Tennin's career, she serviced and operated ATM machines, digitally, nationwide in the USA, for US Bank Corporation.  Inclusive, she has worked with Board of Directors in 2 private, 1 public, and 4 nonprofit corporations. She is a recipient of over 30 organizational awards and continues practitioner scholarship at global conferences. 

Moreover, with proven experience and national awards, Dr. Tennin has volunteered with over 20 organizations and participated in as a speaker and assisted with creating leadership conferences, workshops, entrepreneur and career symposium panels, mentoring and coaching at the University of Phoenix to teach current students and alumni about starting a business (whether for-profit or non-profit), writing a business plan, investor pitches, venture capital, foreign entities, business proposals, and grant writing.  Dr. Tennin has also served on several Boards of Directors to conceptualize committees, approve budgets, and establish objectives and policies, and is a member of nine investment firms, reviewing business plans, project financials, and pitches for start-up enterprises regularly. And she currently writes business, management, leadership, and entrepreneurship curriculum on a project and consulting basis for Western Governor's University under the corporation Ms. Kyla Latrice, Inc.
