Michelle is a globally recognised senior Government Adviser, digital transformation/ blockchain expert and investor with major access to an extensive network of global stakeholders in the digital economy, financing and diplomacy space. Recently recognised as Top African Woman in Blockchain in 2020 and Top 40 Fintech4Good Global Fellow , she is often referred to as a young thought leader and investor in the Blockchain and Finance space, Michelle is working across borders to source financing and evaluate the impact of emerging technology for different segments of society helping to educate on how to leverage digital tools to build capacity and strengthen the  investment market. Michelle works at the highest level with High Commissioners, Governments , Investors and Businesses around the world. With 15 years experience she has been at the heart of diplomatic engagements and global government advisory activity , supporting several governments towards their digital transformation,investment and growth journeys. Michelle is a globally recognised Blockchain professional working and engaging with high level institutions such as the African Union, World Trade Organisation, United Nations,World Bank, International Chambers of Commerce , global Universities and others in raising the profile and role of emerging technologies exploring the impact and opportunities of digital transformation.

Michelle’s first engagement relating to the digital economy/blockchain dates back to 2009 just post her banking career.She has since been leading in evaluating and researching developments in the digital economy focusing on outlining the uses and potential of emerging technologies such as Blockchain/DLT, AI,Quantum computing,Big Data in the transformation and growth of many sectors including businesses, private family offices and governments. Michelle has also established centres and built her business to develop blockchain solutions; providing education, training, consultancy and global masterclasses to help build digital literacy and skills. Michelle has also been involved in Investment projects globally and is keen on supporting governments, businesses,investment firms and small and ethnic minority businesses to access funding. Michelle previously worked for the British Bankers Association in the UK (now UK Finance) managing a range of corporate financing projects and designing financing packages working with many global stakeholders - mainly with MESMEs, governments, large businesses, banks across the globe and development finance institutions. Michelle now owns her own digital economy /blockchain and investment business (Global Policy House- GPH). GPH is  exploring and deploying  emerging technology solutions around the world with a focus on emerging markets and in the context of  trade, enterprise/MSMEs, Banks, Investment Groups and governments. She is particularly passionate about supporting women and minorities to address the inequalities and help build the next generation of global leaders . The aim is ensure opportunity for all and to help build sustainable and inclusive digital futures.
